Why another place about the Adventure Construction Set?

A few reasons.
1. I have been searching the web for fans of the game for a few years now and information seems scattered all over the place and sporattic at best.
2. The information, in its various places, is tattered with broken links and misinformation.
3. Nowhere on the web could I find a place for fans of ACS to post the games they make for ACS -- like the old fan club used to provide. I could find lots of places to download or buy game images, but no user created adventures.
4. I thought -- someone has a dusty closet of Commodore disks and on it are the great ACS adventures.
5. I also thought, if there were a way to share them, there have to be plenty of people who would like to make ACS Adventures. What fun is it to make an adventure you never share?

My goal here is simply to be the New ACS Fan Site. I would think, had the technology been available, this is the way the ACS Fan Club would have shared adventures 24 years ago.

Personally, I consider ACS one of the best tools ever made for creating games. When you consider it's time slot in history its place, in my humble opinion, is up there in the pantheon of great games or tools.

So if you are an old fan or just new to this thing by Electronic Arts (ECA -- back then), Welcome. I hope you like it here. We are pleased to have you.
