How did I decided to do this?

I am a former computer programmer who built data analytical systems for banks in Charlotte, NC. I recently left that field for a career in his first love, real estate. Now, I build condos in South Carolina at Peach Grove Villas. In doing this I have continued spending time on some of my passions: politics, baseball, golf and classic video games.

My love of Adventure Construction Set began when my neighbor in the early eighties (who was a few years older) entered the ACS Fan Contest in 1984. My neighbor, George Carle, finished third in the Fantasy Category with his Greek Mythology-Based Game, "Throne of Olympus". I remembered trying to make games, but at 10 my games lacked depth, scope, conflict and (of course) a challenge. A few years ago I woke up and set out to find ACS. I bought one on Ebay, it did not work. I then began to look some more. I pulled out my old Commodore (it still worked) and the love was reignited. Since then I have been looking for games. However, there seem to be none around. It's hard to explain, but they have disappeared.

With this site I hope to change all that.

As I told the old fan club president, this is my personal adventure -- to find the adventures.
